The Rand Road Counseling Program Vision Statement

The students at Rand Road Elementary will graduate college and be career ready as responsible and productive citizens in the 21st century. All students will participate in a research based and developmentally appropriate counseling program where student success is measured across multiple intelligences. The School Counseling Program at Rand Road Elementary will be a partnership between the school, family, and the community to make sure the needs of all students are met.

 The Rand Road Counseling Program Mission Statement

The mission of the comprehensive school counseling program at Rand road Elementary is to prepare every
student to meet future challenges by addressing personal/social, academic and career developmental needs.

2016-2017 School Counseling Program Goals
1.By June 15th, 2017, major office referrals will decrease by 10% from the 2015-2016 school year. 
2. By June 15th, 2017, the number of students not attending all 4 PBIS celebrations will decrease by 10%.
3. By June 15th, 2017, 10% of the students who have been absent 15 times or more during the previous school year will show at least a 25% decrease in their absences as measured by final attendance reports. 


Planned Use of Time
50% of time delivering school counseling core curriculum
20% of time with individual student planning
5% of time with responsive services
5% of time providing referrals, consultation and collaboration
20% of time with foundation, management and accountability and school support.
